There's indeed no reaction except for a flat stare. Natsuno frowns a little as Pal proceeds to explain... well, very little, but he's able to connect some dots.

The thanergenic explosion is what Pal used against the murderer back at Canaan House. Which means this point in time is beyond what Pal remembered back on the Eterna. He glances at the skeletal hand, half expecting it to start moving.
