Palamedes is flapping his hands dismissively before Harrow has even finished speaking. Though he generally tries to be kind in the face of the Reverend Daughter's self-pity, he doesn't have the patience for it now. "Through no fault of yours," he says pointedly. "What matters is, you found me, and for that I am forever grateful. Now," he stops to face her head-on, pressing his palms together under his chin, "You said I didn't immediately show you my work.
